Composite Portrait

1) From digital portraits taken during class time, correct your images using levels (value) and hue saturation (color) adjustment layers.

2) Using masks and blend modes, create a photo-realistic composite which incorporates aspects of at least two other people's images in the class.

3) Create a 'patchwork composite', using a grid and choosing elements of different faces to compose a portrait

4) Create a looping powerpoint with transitions that shows the progression

Ask the permission of the person(s) whose image(s) you are going to use

Guidelines:

Use the digital camera
Use adjustment layers
Use masks
Use blend modes

Hand in three images, one color corrected portrait and two composites
Hand in one powerpoint presentation
Duration of project:
2 weeks
