Field Trip Alternative

If you did not attend the field trip, or visit the galleries independently, create a 3 page report about a local exhibition you have visited very recently. The exhibition should contain works of contemporary art, and preferably electronic art works. You must consult with R Clarke for advice on a suitable exhibition as not all local exhibits are suitable. If you do not consult with R Clarke, your paper may not be graded.

Guidelines

  • 3 full pages, double spacing, 12pt type
  • Images should be added, in addition to the written content (3 pages PLUS images). This could be photographs or sketches, or a combination of both
  • In the report, discuss the exhibition in terms of concept / theme, describe individual works, analyze selected works, and talk about the effectiveness of the exhibition as a whole.
  • Hand in written assignment (printed on paper, not electronic copy) NO LATER THAN the beginning of finals week. Note: I will not accept the paper as an email attachment or as an electronic file. It must be printed.
